| There is no hard and fast rule when furnishing an apartment or villa for rental. What you put in your apartment is going to be very dependent on its size, location and the number of people it can accomodate. As a minimum, consider the needs of the occupants and provide these basic items. For example, these might typically be:
|
- Audio / Visual (TV, DVD)
- Cooking & Cleaning (washer, cooker, fridge)
- Sleeping & Clothes (beds, wardrobes, dressing table)
- Living (sofas, chairs, occaisional tabls, ornaments etc)
- Dining - table & 4 / 6 chairs
- Air-conditioning - a must in Turkey
- Outside Living (Patio furniture)
Do not feel that you must "overfill" your apartment with excess furniture. A typical 2-bed apartment needs: - 2 sofas (or a corner sofa and chair), a coffee table, rug, a small nest of tables, table lighting, TV, DVD and some accessories to personalise it.
- A dining table & 4 chairs (often you get 6)
- A master room with double bed, wardrobe with full length mirror, dressing table and two side tables.
- A twin bedded room with twin beds, 1 side table, wardrobe (+optional dressing table)
- Washing machine, Fridge Freezer, Electric Oven, Microwave Cooker
- Air-con / warm air system for 3 rooms
- Patio table + 4 chairs, 2 loungers
